SKY-EV ™ (Manufacturer) warrants each SKY-EV golf cart sold by any of its authorized dealers, to be free of defects for a determined period from the date of sale. Within the warranty time frame, subject to the issues listed below, SKY-EV™ will repair or replace parts of the golf cart if the components in question are defective in materials or workmanship.

IS MY WARRANTY TRANSFERABLE?

No. The warranty is limited to the original purchaser and does not carry over if ownership changes.

What is covered under the warranty?

SKY-EV Golf Cart comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s limited warranty, and a 5-year warranty on Lithium Battery, Controller and Charger. Lifetime warranty on the frame. (Warranty for the Frame shall be free from defects in materials for the life of the frame; frame is defined as the chassis only, which does not include drive train, suspension, roof supports, paint and corrosion.)

Warranty covers parts for two 2 years, excluding wear parts such as the windshield, tires, brakes and seats.

ARE MY BATTERIES COVERED UNDER 5-YEAR WARRANTY?

All SKY-EV Battery Lithium Batteries will be covered for 5 years.
Exclusions for coverage would include the following:

Lack of maintenance.
Undercharging the cart battery regularly.
Battery failure due to a third party outside electrical source or wiring issue.
Tampering with the charger or charger algorithms.

CAN I HAVE ANOTHER DEALER WORK ON MY CART?

Yes. Any authorized SKY-EV golf cart dealer can perform warranty work on your cart, however, your original dealer is responsible for warranty work after the sale. If you decide to get warranty work done outside of the dealer who sold you your cart, the parts will be supplied to the non-selling dealer from the Manufacturer, however, the non-selling dealer may or may not charge labor. Work performed outside of an authorized SKY-EV dealer or SKY-EV Service Factory Center may void the Limited Warranty.

WILL THE MANUFACTURER PAY TO TRANSPORT MY CART TO THE DEALER FOR WARRANTY WORK?

No. Any and all expenses incurred in transporting the vehicle to and from SKY-EV or an authorized dealer will be the sole responsibility of the cart owner unless otherwise noted by the service provider.

WILL ADDING ACCESSORIES TO MY CART VOID MY WARRANTY?

If you install an aftermarket part and an unrelated component, we will honor the warranty.

If an aftermarket part does cause damage, SKY-EV can void the warranty for the specific components damaged by that part, but your entire SKY-EV golf cart warranty remains intact.
